J&M Technologies, Inc. was established in 1999 in response to a growing need for an affordable Internet Catalog by a group of Janitorial and Paper Distributors who have the same computer software running their business. We contacted the key vendors in the industry and started to build the database as well as the programs to run the catalog on the Internet. The first customer was online in early 2001 and by the end of the year we had 20 distributors up and running.

By the year 2002, our customers realized that the Internet was an important tool in selling their products, but that a printed catalog was still needed for a majority of their customers. Most distributors could not afford to do a custom catalog, so they used a generic one from a master distributor and added their name to the cover. This solution was reasonably priced, but resulted in selling nonstocks rather than the inventory in their warehouse. To remedy this situation, we developed the "Print Catalog Creator" so that distributors can create catalogs with their items on a daily basis.
